FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
NAVIGATE THE 2023 FESTIVAL WITH EASE
In an ongoing effort to make F-O-R-M more accessible we are committed to expanding our understanding of accessibility and learn more about how it is intertwined within all aspects of our festival. We acknowledge that we will never be able to address all aspects of accessibility, but strive to provide greater depths of access each year as we grow. Through these reflections we have created this page, which encompasses addressing questions regarding physical accessibility, financial accessibility and specific informative festival details.
FESTIVAL CONTENT ACCESSIBILITY
-
All films screened in the festival will have dialogue captioning in English.
-
The Embodied Extensions: A Relaxed Screening of Extended Shorts will have an ASL interpreter. If you require ASL interpretation, please email chiara@f-o-r-m.ca by October 20 outlining which event(s) you’ll be attending to allow us enough time to secure an interpreter.

Yes! For each ticketed event you would like to attend you must purchase a ticket for each individual event.
-
Unfortunately not! A ticket to an in-person screening does not give you access to watch the collection of films online afterwards. If you are interested in rewatching films after they screen we suggest purchasing a Festival Pass, which will give you access to all the screenings, both in-person and online!
-
Our aim at F-O-R-M is to provide accessible opportunities for our community to engage with art through the variety of events we program. We work with various Community Partners to provide low-barrier free tickets to members of the public who our Community Partners work with and serve. This year we have given away __ of free community tickets, and __ of free community passes, facilitated through these organizations.
Additionally, no one is turned away at the door! Please contact the box office (boxoffice@f-o-r-m.ca) for community access options.
