Moving/ Forward Touring Showcase
Moving/ Forward brought a five-year survey of dance created for the screen by artists based in Western Canada. From flamenco to street dance, this program offered a chance to experience a lot of types of dance from a new perspective. The narrative format of the screen broke down barriers and provided another avenue of appreciation for dance.
The program ran approximately 75 minutes and included work by Deanna Peters, Ralph Escamillan, Nancy Lee, Katie Coolidge, Francesca Frewer, Karissa Barry, Sabrina Comanescu, Heather Lamoureux, Nita Bowerman, Miriam Colvin, Company 605, Kim Sato, Nathan Boey, and others. Curated by F-O-R-M’s Artistic Director Sophia Wolfe and Creative Producer Kristina Lemieux.

Bring Moving/ Forward to Your Venue
Moving/ Forward is available for a fee of $250.
For an additional fee, one or both of our curators can attend to host workshops or facilitate a discussion. Generally, we charge $300 for a half day or $550 for a full day. Plus travel, accommodations, and per diem.
